Ricardo da Silva

Hello, my name is Ricardo Silva, and when I was 19 years old, I gave my life to Christ. I had the privilege of being the first convert of the first community church planted in Brazil.I have been married to Luiza Káttia for 20 years, and we have two children: 18-year-old Rebecca Louise and 14-year-old Eric Ricardo.I serve as a missionary pastor with World Renewal Brazil, and for the past 28 years, I have worked as a church planter in the Northeast of Brazil. My ministry focuses on evangelism, discipleship, and equipping leaders to nurture and expand the Kingdom of God.

Church Planting

In 1998, the Lord placed a desire in my heart to bring the gospel to the lost through the planting of new churches. Thus, I had the opportunity, along with a team of young people from the Community Church of Carpina, to plant a church in the city of Guadalajara. This was my first experience in church planting, and although I faced many challenges, serving the Lord in the expansion of His kingdom is something I love and that sets my heart on fire.Since then, we have planted other Community Churches in the cities of Ameixas and Lagoa de Itaenga, and we are currently in our fourth planting in the city of Feira Nova. We are also supporting the planting of the Community Church in Caruaru. My goal, by God's grace and with the support of our team, is to plant three more churches in the coming years. I invite everyone to join us in this mission by praying, contributing, and coming to learn more about our work.Over the last 28 years i have learned that
the fastest and most eficiente way to plant
churches is thrugh a well-prepared and
committed team.

Living Stones

Living Stones has been an incredible bridge for evangelism. Every day, we welcome underprivileged children from the community who are in at-risk situations into our churches. Many of them face a lack of food, personal hygiene, respect, education, and, most importantly, love. The coordinators and teachers at Living Stones care for these children not just by teaching Portuguese and math or providing a meal. They love them, guiding them and their families through the love of God, leading them to salvation in Christ and a transformed life.Living Stones Works in three áreas: Social, Emotional and Spitual.
